Help SPCA la!!!

SPCA really needs our help!!! They get thousands and thousands of cats and dogs per year and very few get adopted. For those that are not adopted…since they don’t have the space…sadly they have to put them to sleep. Forever. We can help by advertising. We can make videos and put them on youtube, make posters and pasting them around school or hold assemblies. We can donate to the SPCA. I know they need a lot of things to take care of all the cats, dogs, turtles, birds and even monkeys that they have. So far, what I’ve heard is that they need old towels, newspaper, food and water bowls. We can also set up campaigns in or out of school to help raise money for the SPCA. Other than that, we also have to help report to the SPCA when we see animal abuse. HELP SAVE THE ANIMALS!!!

Malaysia's 4th Prime Minister

The important
qualities that make a leader are that they have to be brave, kind, independant and they need to be able to sacrifice some time to help others. They also have to be smart and make the right choices when they need to. One of the leaders who has all there things is Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad. He was born on the 10th of July 1925 in Alor Star the capital of the northern state of Kedah. Mahathir became the Prime Minister of Malaysia on 16 July 1981 when Tun Hussein Onn stepped down due to health reasons. He was the nation's first Prime Minister that came from a modest social background, whereas the first three prime ministers were members of the royal or elite families. After 22 years in office, Mahathir retired on 31 October 2003, making him one of Asia's longest-serving political leaders. In 2002 a tearful Mahathir announced his resignation to a surprised UMNO General Assembly. He was persuaded to stay on for a further eighteen months, in a carefully planned handover that ended in October 2003. On his retirement, he was granted Malaysia's highest honour, which entitles him to the title Tun from his original Datuk Seri. Since retirement, he has been serving as an advisor to the Malaysian national oil company Petronas and the Malaysian national car company Proton, an original core national project initiated by Mahathir during his premiership.

Courage

Courage to me means being able to try something new without hesitating. For example, I really want to skydive but I’m afraid to or being able to make a new friend on the first day of school. To me, it also means being able to stand up for yourself when you need to. Like if your being bullied but you stand up to the bully. Not showing people that you are afraid and also never saying "I can't do it." Never give up when you do say “I can’t do it.” Being able to change the world and the way people see it. The time that I showed courage was when I represented my class in a story telling competition but I still haven’t overcome my fear of stage fright yet.
